We have developed a detailed, step-by-step process to effectively guide you through your nanny search.
Step 1: Submit Client Application
Download and submit your application. It is important to allot enough time to thoroughly complete the Client Application. This critical document helps us narrow the field of applicants and gives us a better idea of what your specific family needs are. To begin your search, our non-refundable Registration Fee of $150 is due. We will credit this amount to your balance due once a placement has been made. For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards.
Step 2: Review
The Client Application is reviewed and we compile your family profile. We will call you to confirm we have received the information, and set up a time to come meet with you in your home.
Step 3: We Visit With Your Family
We like to learn about each of your family members! At this time, the Client Agreement is signed by family and agency as well.
Step 4: Interviews
Once we have received your Client Application, the registration fee, and your signed Client Agreement, we will begin sending you carefully screened and qualified candidates to interview. You may decide to bring one or two of the candidates back on a "trial basis" for a few days to see if they are a good fit for your family. Candidates will be paid by you their regular hourly rate, and our Agency fee will be waived for up to 5 days.
Step 5: The Offer
If you decide to hire one of our referred candidates, let us know and we can extend an offer of employment on your behalf, or you can make the offer directly to the candidate and inform us an offer has been made. Please remember all salaries should be discussed on a "gross" not "net" basis. (We can help you through the negotiation process if you would like). Both employer and employee are responsible for reporting taxes. Step 6: Complete Background Check
The final stages of the independent background check are completed. Social security number is verified, previous reported addresses checked (for the last 5 years), highest level education confirmation, county/state/federal criminal records are checked, registered state sex offender checked, past employment verification, and all personal references are checked. You may view a copy of the candidates file at any time.
Step 7: Referral Fee
Our fee for permanent (part-time and full-time) employees is 10% of candidate's gross annual compensation, (includes estimated non-salary benefits and based on 52 weeks in a year) and is due on or before candidates' first day of employment (or immediately following the trial period). Our minimum fee for permanent placements is $1200.
Our fee for temporary employees (less than 6 months employment) including sitting services, newborn specialists and night nannies is:
1) $25/day or
2) $40/day for overnights and 24 hour care
Step 8: Ongoing Support
